Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!  Back in January I bought some bare root roses.  Look how much they've grown already.  Still no buds but they are leafing out really well. 




 

I didn't get a photo of the other one but it's doing well too!  I can't remember which is which so it will be a surprise when they bloom!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday! I'm so sorry I'm so very late getting this post up this week. I was sick AGAIN!  I've had three bouts of colds/flu since the day after Thanksgiving! This time I had a high fever for two days but I'm feeling much better now!

Is your life busy?  I'm sure like me you said YES to that!  It's not just the weekdays that are busy but my weekends also seem so hectic lately!  The times when I just sit down and relax are special to me.  Watching TV is how most people spend their downtime but I think it's really important to turn the TV off and turn on some relaxing music and just totally unwind.  When was the last time

Spring Banner Tutorial - Show and Tell Friday

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday! 



Someone left a comment a couple weeks ago and asked how I made my banners so I thought I would put together a quick tutorial on how I do it.



It's fairly easy.  The hardest part is finding letters that aren't too thick and heavy.  Sometimes I have to go to a couple craft stores to find the right ones.  They can be wood or cardboard, either will work.

Spring Mantel - Show and Tell Friday

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!  I took down my Valentine mantel and put up a Spring mantel.  I didn't add all my Easter décor yet so I can update it later when we get closer to Easter.








I added my nest collection...

I went to two stores looking for mini pink roses but I couldn't find any.  Last Sunday I went to the farmer's market and found some pink mini carnations.  I'm not usually into carnations but I thought these were really cute!
